Get ready to experience the ultimate in backyard wellness! At the heart of the Iceland Duo is an incredibly efficient, quiet-running Cool&Heat pump that does the heavy lifting for both chilling and heating. Whether you want to rapidly cool down to an invigorating 41°F or enjoy a deeply warm soak, this energy-saving system has you covered. Plus, thanks to dual superfine filters and an advanced Ozmix ozone system, your water stays crystal clear with minimal effort so you can focus entirely on relaxing.
Because the Duo sits low and square, it works well tucked against a deck edge, set into a patio, or placed as the anchor of a covered outdoor room. What matters most is a level, load-rated pad, drainage you will not regret, service access to the equipment side, and the right electrical supply nearby. The Cool&Heat pump is rated to operate in outside temperatures from -5°C to 43°C (23°F to 109°F), which comfortably covers a Willamette Valley year, and the insulated shell plus thermo cover keep it holding temperature through wet winter months.
We handle design, permitting, installation, and long-term service ourselves rather than handing you off, so the electrical and siting questions get answered before anything is ordered. You can read how that works on Our Process, or bring your site photos and measurements to your appointment and we will look at them together.
Yes. We keep a Iceland Duo available for in-person trials by appointment so you can feel the cold side and the warm side yourself. Book a time and we will have it ready for you.
Wellis lists 3 × 16A 400V/50Hz as the optimum supply for the Iceland Duo. That is a European specification, so the practical answer for an Oregon home depends on your panel and the run to the installation site. Our team confirms the correct electrical setup, permitting, and any panel work during the site visit, before you commit to anything.
Plan for a level surface at least 7'3" square with clearance for the equipment side, and remember the shell weighs 441 kg empty before you add roughly 1,130 liters of water across both zones. Decks and rooftop patios need a structural check, which we cover during the consultation.
Two superfine filter cartridges plus the Ozmix ozone and mixer system do the day-to-day work. You still test and balance the water and rinse the cartridges on a routine, the same way you would with a spa. We will show you the maintenance rhythm at handover and our service department is here after that.
Yes. The Cool&Heat pump operates in outside temperatures from 23°F to 109°F, chilling in summer and heating for a warm soak in winter. Many owners run the cold side hardest in July and the hot side hardest in January.
Wellis covers the shell structure for 10 years and the engineering parts for 3 years. We register your warranty and handle service claims locally, so you are not shipping parts back and forth or negotiating with a manufacturer on your own.
Pricing depends on the installation, electrical work, and any extras such as steps or a spa wand, so we quote it per home rather than posting a number. Ask for a quote and we will put real figures in front of you.
That is how many people buy it. A sauna and a cold plunge in the same outdoor space give you a full contrast therapy circuit, and we design, supply, and install both sides of it.
Home Fire Stove & Grill City has been guiding Willamette Valley homeowners through comfort decisions since 1979, and our sales team is non-commissioned, so the advice you get about whether a home cold plunge tub belongs in your backyard is honest either way. We are at 1695 Market St NE in Salem, and you are welcome to visit the showroom anytime during business hours.
For the Iceland Duo, book a time. We will have it ready, talk through placement and power, and follow up with a quote if it is the right choice for your home.
